Beth Lingat acquired her Bachelor’s of Science Degree from California State University, Los Angeles.  She majored in Business Administration with emphasis in Administrative Management and also received her Certificate in Accounting.  Beth strongly believes in education and as such, she continues to take relevant business courses, seminars and attends insightful conferences to better serve her clients with up-to-date tax laws, notarial practices, and business strategies.  She has been preparing income taxes for individual and small businesses for over 15 years.
Additionally, Beth is a commissioned notary public, a certified loan signing agent and passed a rigorous background check.  She also worked as a Tax Auditor for a major metropolitan city auditing business taxes.  She traveled out-of-state on occasions to conduct more complicated and larger corporate audits.  She prepared audit reports and detailed workpapers, made audit findings presentation, and presented recommendations to the taxpayer’s management and legal counsel representatives.  She also participated occasionally in taxpayer’s informal hearings.
Beth’s professional work experience also includes accounting, notarial services, office administration and organization, business processes development and implementation, personnel, RFPs/contracts, budgeting, procurement of goods and services, marketing, report writing and research.  Additionally, Beth also assisted buyer and/or the seller in real estate transactions, provided assistance to homeowners in loan mortgaging, assisted business owners in securing lease agreement as well as SBA loan preparation and packaging.
Beth enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, reading, watching movies/plays/concerts, going to museums/parks/historical places, a “foodie,” and she loves a “good laugh.”  She advocates and avid supporter of local businesses.  Beth is also an animal lover.
